One of his key accomplishments has been transforming IT into a profit centre within the organization. He manages a team of over 20 IT professionals and bringing innovative ideas to the IT environment of hotels.
His expertise spans small, medium, and large-sized businesses, with experience in single and multi-PMS systems. He also has a strong background in personnel management, leadership, and budgeting. His proficiency in IT security is backed by certifications in PCI and BSI, and an ITIL v3 Foundation for process management. He as also well-versed in Microsoft licensing and have successfully onboarded service delivery, F&B, and cleaning robots. Inside project and process management he manages client-server infrastructures and operates a data centre for over 2000 users, including mailboxes and MS Office. He also oversees hotel takeovers ranging from 10 to 200 workstations, implementing new concepts, terminal server solutions, virtualization, and provisioning. An additional experience also extends to manages telephone systems with 30 to 1500 extensions, and the TV domain. He has built and maintained thin client environments and developed network infrastructure. Working for marketing agency Accord, she promoted campaigns for various travel clients including hotels, tour operators and destinations. She has co-organised events with Google London, ETC, UN and other partners. Subsequently, Magdalena moved to work on concept development for new openings and repositioning in Portugal (Vale do Lobo, Vilamoura, Palmares). Magdalena works on profiling audiences and designing creative ways of promoting destinations, and both residential and tourism experience. She embraces the need to focus on ‘new luxury’: community-feel, wellbeing, active living, sustainability, growth and contribution. All delivered through integrated campaigns led by social, influencer, content and events campaigns. She regularly speaks at international conferences.
